Package Details

SouthFest is seeking performers from all genres to join in the festival. Stages, pop up performance spaces, busking sites and roving performance will activate the festival. SouthFest organisers will have a discussion with all interested performers about the right venue and time for your performance.

SouthFest does not currently have the capacity to contract paid performances. Artists are able to busk, directly sell items and promote services on the day.

Package Details

Businesses, services and government agencies are invited to utilise a 3mx3m space at SouthFest 2019.

Note: Stall holders will need to provide shade, weights for the shade cover to secure to asphalt and any furniture required in their stalls. The site is for the defined area only.

All stall holders will be listed on the website.

You may also choose to supplement with the following add on services:

Upsize to 6mx3m or equivalent space - $50

Power to site - $125

Promoted fitness/health demo or come and try - $250

*all participants in SouthFest must hold relevant licences and insurance to conduct their business and public liability insurance for their site.

Package Details

Community organisations and not-for-profits are invited to utilise a 3mx3m space at SouthFest 2019 at no cost.

Package Details

The Vikings Group are a Community Partner of SouthFest.

As part of this all Vikings Affiliate Clubs are invited to become involved in SouthFest. There are a number of options:

  • Promote your sport along with a number of sports from within the Vikings Sports Hub tent (you may choose to participate for only part of the day).
  • Register for a standalone 3mx3m site in the Vikings Sports Hub free of charge. Clubs will be responsible for providing shade and activation within their stall for the duration of the event (10am-3pm + bump in). Increase this to 6mx3m for $50.
  • Register to conduct a 30minute demonstration or come and try in the Vikings Sports Hub (free for Vikings Affiliates) - limited opportunities with times allocated on a first in first serve basis.

The basic registration will include participation in the Vikings Sports Hub shared marquee only. Please ensure you 'add on' a standalone site, additional space or a demonstration when you are registering.

Note: Standalone Stallholders will need to provide shade, weights for the shade cover to secure to asphalt and any furniture/activities required in their stalls. The site is for the defined area only.

Package Details

SouthFest Partners, Community Partners and Supporters are invited to activate a site at SouthFest.

The requirements and specifications for sites of SouthFest Partners, Community Partners and Supporters will be discussed with the SouthFest Organising Team.

  • *Note that while the event holds appropriate insurances for the site, all participants in SouthFest must hold relevant licences and insurance to conduct their business and public liability insurance for their site.

Package Details

Join SouthFest as a food or drink vendor.

Many of our food vendors in 2019 will be situated on 'Eat Street' which provides shade, tables, seating and bars for event patrons. Some food vendors will be placed in other activation areas - this will be discussed with relevant vendors.

The final selection of food vendors is at the discretion of the SouthFest Committee. Consideration will be had for a variety of food on site and a focus on Tuggeranong based vendors.

All food vendors must have required licences and insurances to sell food in a public place including Public Liability Insurance. and have their electrical items tagged and tested. Vendors will be required to show evidence to event management prior to bump in.

Note: Private generators will not be permitted for food vendors on the event site (unless an exception is made). Please add on power to your registration if you need it.

As a special offer to Needhams Business and Financial Services Clients a limited number of businesses are eligible for free sites within SouthFest (add on services attract an additional fee).

Businesses and services are invited to utilise a 3mx3m space at SouthFest 2019 in one of our activation zones.

Package Details

Schools are encourage to showcase their school and students at SouthFest.

For those schools who do not want to have a full 3mx3m stall on the day, we offer schools the chance to create a flat display 1.5mx2m display on the shopfront windows in our community connect hub.

We also encourage schools to perform in 30min time slots on our School Showcase Stage. This can be in groups of any size.

We have many volunteering opportunities at SouthFest. We will be in touch with all volunteers who express an interest to discuss options as we finalise preparations.

Once you submit:

  1. Please ensure you receive a confirmation message on your screen.
  2. Your expression of interest will be reviewed by SouthFest organisers.
  3. We will respond within 3 business days (please get in touch if you have not heard from us).
  4. All approved applicants will receive an email – if a fee is due, this will include a link to the eWAY payment gateway to finalise and confirm registration. No sites are approved until payment is processed.
  5. If you have registered to deliver a demonstration or come and try as part of your application, we will email or phone you to offer you the available times in the program which will be confirmed on a first in basis.
  6. Following the confirmation of registration, the Primary Contact and Alternate Contact will receive updates and information about SouthFest in the lead up. Please ensure to get in touch to update these if they change.
